Autumn Wedding at Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham

Kat & Jon slid into my DMs just about 4 months before their big day at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. It was probably one of the most last-minute bookings I’ve had for a wedding but oh, I was SO was free as it was one of the most incredible weddings!

Originally, they had this other photographer booked for like 2 years, but as their date got closer Kat & Jon were like "Nah, the edit is not our vibe," and went on a quest to find someone who could nail that more natural look. A huge reason why I always tell couples to ensure you ADORE the edit of the photographer, as well as how they photograph as the way we use colours and light is a huge part of how we work and what sets us apart.

Kat & Jon were basically the dream team couple. They were all about making their wedding gallery pop, and let me tell you, Manor by the Lake was the perfect playground for our photo adventures. They even had their wedding squad on point, keeping things spick and span in the prep areas for that picture-perfect backdrop. These two weren't messing around – they gave me all the time I needed to capture those epic wedding party shots before the ceremony kicked off. And boy, did their wedding photos thank them for it. A rushed photographer can only document the very key moments, spread things out a little and we can give you SO much more.

You know, they say your wedding gallery is like a pizza – it's only as good as the toppings you throw on it. And let me tell ya, these guys went all out with the pepperoni, pineapple, and everything in between. From an outdoor ceremony to a sparkler exit, this wedding had it ALL. But what really stole the show was the vibe these lovebirds created. With a more intimate guest list, everyone there was practically family, super hyped to witness Kat & Jon dropping their vows and turning the party up a notch.
