"grace has been amazing from start to finish, She really went the extra mile to get to know us as a couple and understand how we would like our day to be captured. Grace really put a lot of time and effort into capturing the day perfectly and planning different shots, as well as making sure to get pictures of all the things that meant a lot to us. Our guests also loved Grace and said how brilliant she was. Her pictures are amazing and there is not a single wedding photo we didn't like. They are all fantastic!"

Last August, I worked with the wonderful Rob & Laura to capture their wedding at Gorcott Hall, over in Warwickshire. It was my first time shooting at this venue and bonus for me - it was only 30 minutes away!

Gorcott Hall is a beautiful venue, lovingly restored by Allie Foxon. It is hundreds of years old with plenty of character and charm. The staff were also some of the most lovely people I've ever worked of, you can tell they love their job and want to right by their couples which is so lovely to see. There's also a field nearby which is perfectly positioned for golden hour portraits.

One of my favourite moments had to be when Rob saw Laura walking down the isle, it was such an intimate and joyful ceremony with so much love.

Rob & Laura booked me nearly 18 months ago for their wedding at Gorcott Hall in Redditch, they also opted to have an engagement shoot. This was such an amazing way for us to meet and for them to get a taste of what couple portraits can be like, we drove over to Bibury in the Cotswolds and it was so lovely to have a mix of winter portraits (from their engagement session) and summery ones (for their wedding).

Laura's Mum and Mother in Law (to be) helped her prepare for her special day and there was something to beautiful and intimate about it being just them 3. With a later ceremony time, we also had plenty of time for lots of getting ready photos (something I always recommend). There are an emotional, registrar ceremony in one of Gorcott Hall's grand rooms before everyone spilled out onto the lawn for photos and drinks.

The day ended with a lovely wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing. A perfect day for a perfect couple and those overcast skies were just dreamy to shoot in!
