PIMHILL BARN wedding in Shrewsbury
My very first winter white wedding! That's right folks there was actually SNOW on the ground, there was sun in the sky and it was absolute perfection! This is super rare in the UK wedding scene FYI! Few people know that snow is actually AMAZING for photographs, the light bounces off it in the most flattering way and it just makes the whole day more magical!
Nathan & Fiona had a winter wedding at Pimhill Barn in Shewsbury in December. The ceremony time was later in the day so to make the most of the beautiful light we changed things up and brought their wedding party portraits forward. I'm so glad we did because we managed to get bridesmaid portraits in golden hour which looked INSANE. We got the music going and just had a ball. After their barn ceremony, we then explored the grounds in the last of the sunlight and got some dreamy lake side couple portraits as the sun went down. With Christmas dinner pies from Pieoneers (what a name!) and the fabulous Fourphit getting the dancefloor going, it was such a fabulous, personal celebration.
