Worcester Newborn Photographer, an at home session
At home newborn sessions are becoming very popular and I'm not surprised! We are currently due our second baby and have already decided this time around we're going to have a photographer come to us too. When you've just had a baby, it can be really daunting leaving your newborn bubble to venture to a studio. Perhaps you've had a tricky labour or perhaps you're worried about the car ride there? During an at home session your whole family can be involved and we can pretty much spend the entire time in your bedroom or lounge snapping away as you do life!
I am a very documentary style photographer which means I don't tend to use props or poses. Rather I like to let my families be as they usually are. I'll offer to odd prompt here or there to ensure you're in good light and there's that lovely intimate vibe that my families book me for but other than that, we just chat and play.
Baby Claudia and her family chose to have the majority of their photos in their bedroom and downstairs on their lovely leather sofa. It was rainy outside but it really didn't matter as it was so cosy inside. Her older brother was getting restless halfway through the session so the extra benefit was he could head off and play whilst we continued photographing his baby sister. No stress, a very natural and homey environment (because it is your home), the dream!
